Jacob Blocker is a seasoned propulsion engineer with extensive experience in aerospace engineering. Currently holding the position of Propulsion Engineer II at SpaceX since June 2023, Jacob previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Cyclone Rocketry, where leadership in the design and manufacturing of the club's competition rocket, Intrepid, was demonstrated. Jacob also led a propulsion team focused on designing and testing large solid rocket motors. Previous research roles at Iowa State University included work in the Energetic Materials Combustion Laboratory and contributions to aerospace engineering course development. Jacob's experience includes a Pathways internship at NASA, where assessment of propulsion systems for commercial launch vehicles was performed. Jacob earned a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Iowa State University in May 2023.
