Javier Roa Vicens

Javier Roa Vicens is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a strong focus on guidance, navigation, and control systems. Currently serving as a Principal Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer at SpaceX since September 2021, Javier previously held positions at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory from January 2017 to September 2021 as a Navigation Engineer and Postdoctoral Fellow in the Solar System Dynamics Group. Javier's academic background includes a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, along with a BSc and MSc in the same field. Javier's extensive experience includes roles as a Research Affiliate, Postdoctoral Researcher, and various internships focused on spacecraft trajectory design, astrophysics, and robotics, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in aerospace dynamics and engineering.
