Jiyansh Agarwal

Jiyansh Agarwal is a propulsion engineer at SpaceX, having transitioned from a graduate engineer role within the same company. Prior experience includes serving as a research assistant at the Applied Physics Research Group Laboratory, and as chief technical officer at Florida Rocket Lab, where responsibilities included designing a new injector for the Sparrow engine and developing data-acquisition software for engine testing. Jiyansh also gained experience as an intern at SpaceX’s F9 Build and Reliability team and has a background in education, working as a mathematics tutor. Leadership skills were demonstrated as the president of the Coral Gables Engineering Club, where Jiyansh initiated the club and managed multiple project teams. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Coral Gables Senior High School.
