Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez is a Fluids and Test Engineer at the USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory, where responsibilities include operating the Water Flow Test Stand and characterizing flow coefficients for engine components. Jose also has experience as a Cook at SpaceX, contributing to operations engineering projects, and previously served as a Teaching Assistant at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, co-authoring a technical manuscript highlighting safety culture lessons from nuclear disasters. Other professional roles include a Cybersecurity Project Management Summer Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co., a Network Design Engineering Co-Op at Johnson & Johnson, and a Space Intelligence Intern at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
