Payton Kramer is a Lead Radiation Effects Engineer at SpaceX, contributing to the advancement of radiation effects analysis since January 2022, after previously serving as a Radiation Effects Engineer II and Radiation Effects Engineer. Payton began an impactful career at SpaceX as a Radiation Effects Engineering Intern from May 2021 to August 2021. Prior to this, valuable experience was gained as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University from August 2020 to May 2021 and as an Electronics Prototype Test Intern at Raytheon Missiles & Defense in June 2020 to August 2020. Additionally, an Electrical Engineering Intern position was held at One-Cycle Control, Inc. in the summer of 2019. Payton earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University in December 2021.
