Rui Vicente

Rui Vicente is an experienced professional in engineering and production management, currently serving as a Sourcing Manager at SpaceX since February 2022. Prior to this role, Rui held the position of ITR Production Quality-Industrial Manager at GE Grid Solutions, where responsibilities included leading projects focused on factory construction and optimization. Rui also worked at GE Renewable Energy in Industrial Engineering from November 2015 to December 2019. Earlier career roles included Downstream Production Manager at Efacec Power Transformers, overseeing final assembly and shipping of power transformers, and various engineering positions at EFACEC, where involvement ranged from project management to technical coordination for equipment related to power transformer production. Rui Vicente holds a 5-Year Mechanical and Thermodynamics Engineering Degree from Universidade de Coimbra, completed in 2006.
