Allan Churukian, MD, FACEP

Allan Churukian, MD, has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Allan started their own medical corporation, Allan C. Churukian, MD, Inc., in 2007 where they served as the company owner. In 2017, they joined SpaKinect as the Chief Medical Officer, overseeing physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, and contributing to policy creation and reviews. Allan also served as the Telemedicine Oversight & Provider for SpaKinect from 2017 to 2019. Starting from 2019, Dr. Churukian worked as a Staff Physician at QTC Management, Inc. In addition, they have worked as an Emergency Physician at Envision since 2015. Allan has also held the role of Medical Director at Premier Medical Wellness and Radiance Health & Wellness, LLC since 2017. Dr. Churukian has been volunteering as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside since 2016, where they supervise and trains medical students in emergency medicine and trauma care. Allan has also served as a Board Advisor at Blue Sky Broadcast since 2013. Dr. Churukian was a Travel Team Physician at ApolloMD from 2013 to 2021. Lastly, they served as the Principal, Co-Founder, & Medical Director at ALIVE Health Inc. from 2017 to 2019.

Allan Churukian, MD, FACEP completed their education as follows:

- From 1983 to 1987, they attended the University of Southern California and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Biology and Psychology.

- Allan continued their education at the University of Southern California from 1989 to 1991, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Anatomy and Molecular Cell Biology.

- In 1993, they enrolled at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin U-Med & Science and received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine in 1997.

- Following medical school, they completed a preliminary intern year in Internal Medicine at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center from 1997 to 1998.

- Allan then undertook their specialty training in Emergency Medicine at Cook County Hospital from 1998 to 2001.

Additionally, Dr. Churukian has obtained various certifications, including Advanced Trauma Life Support (obtained in July 2001 from the American College of Surgeons), Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (all obtained in July 1997 from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association). Furthermore, they are licensed as a physician in Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, New York State, and Texas.
