Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson has a diverse work experience in the transportation industry. Michael started their career at Roadway as a DC Manager from 1999 to 2006. Michael then joined YRC Freight as a Regional Service Center Manager from 1999 to 2011, and later became the Area Director of Operations from 2011 to 2015. After that, they worked at UPS Freight as an Account Executive from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Reddaway as an Area Sales Director until 2017. Currently, they serve as the President of Span Alaska Transportation since April 2021, and previously held the position of Executive Vice President from 2017 onwards.

Michael Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Northwest Nazarene University in 1983. In 2019, they began pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Leadership: Business Administration at Bushnell University, which they completed in 2021.
