David Ambrose

David Ambrose has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they serve as the Instructional Design and Knowledge Management Lead at SPAN Digital Innovation, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Instructional Designer at Apple from March 2021 to August 2022 and at Uber from September 2019 to July 2020. David also has experience as a Freelance Instructional Designer, having worked for himself from September 2014 to August 2019. Additionally, they served as a Learning Designer at Smart Sparrow from February 2016 to November 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Archaeologist/Cultural Resource Specialist at HDR from October 2012 to August 2014, as well as in various other roles such as Community Coordinator at the Center for Multicultural Excellence, University of Denver from September 2011 to June 2012, Research Assistant at the Sea Turtle Conservancy from June 2011 to August 2011, and Lab Assistant at the Rocky Mountain Center for Conservation Genetics and Systematics from October 2009 to June 2010.

David Ambrose attended the University of Denver from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their major fields of study were Anthropology and Biological Sciences. In 2010 and 2011, David also spent some time at the University College Cork, although it is not specified whether they completed a degree or field of study there. Additionally, David obtained a certification in Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design from IDEO.org in 2017.
