Doug Chung

Senior Engineering Program Manager at SPAN

Doug Chung has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as the Head Instructor at Eagle Harbour Yacht Club. Doug then worked as an Undergraduate Project Assistant at The Department of Computer Science, University of British Columbia from 2014 to 2015. Subsequently, they interned as an NMR Electronic Manufacturing Intern at Nanalysis Corp. from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they served as an Electronics Manufacturing Contractor at Aurora Solar Technologies, and concurrently as a Test Engineer at GE Digital Energy. In 2018, they joined Corvus Energy as a Manufacturing Engineer, later transitioning to roles as a Project Engineer and Project Manager. Currently, they are working at SPAN as an Engineering Program Manager.

Doug Chung attended The University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree. Doug studied Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Commerce and participated in a cooperative education program. In 2021, they also completed a course on Project Management Essentials at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
