Ernesto Salcedo

Ernesto Salcedo is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing test engineering and systems testing. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer at SPAN, Ernesto developed an ambitious production test solution for the Gen3 Panel in a six-month timeframe, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration. Previously, during tenure at Johnson & Johnson, Ernesto contributed to the surgical robotics system OTTAVA by designing and qualifying manufacturing and test processes while managing technical reporting for integration status. Ernesto has also held positions at Velodyne LiDAR, where software development for manufacturing process system tests was a focus, and as an Electrical Engineering Tutor, recognized for exemplary performance in student retention. Ernesto obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University-Sacramento and completed a coding program at Coding Dojo in 2020.
