Ivana Zagorac BC-MSLcert PhD is a distinguished researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Investigator at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) in the H12O-CNIO Cancer Immunotherapy Clinical Research Unit since January 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Hospital 12 de Octubre since January 2022. Previously, Ivana held the position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the CNIC - Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research from July 2017 to December 2021, focusing on the role of Notch signaling and hypoxia in tumor angiogenesis. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Pre-Doc Research Assistant at CNIO from September 2011 to February 2017, contributing to the identification of biomarkers for early detection of triple-negative breast cancer. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a B.Sc. and MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Belgrade. Additionally, Ivana has participated in various projects as a Visiting Scholar at prominent institutions.
