Maria Velasco Estevez

Maria Velasco Estevez is a postdoctoral researcher at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) since February 2020, following a previous postdoctoral position at the Medical University of Gdańsk from July 2019 to January 2020. Prior to these roles, Maria Velasco Estevez completed a PhD in Physiology at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on the mechanoreceptor Piezo1 in the Central Nervous System. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Brighton and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
