Sara Barrambana

Sara Barrambana is currently a PhD student at CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre, involved in research since January 2021. Prior to this role, Sara completed a Master's project at IPATIMUP/i3S from July 2018 to November 2019, focusing on "Mitochondrial Dynamics in Thyroid Cancer: Unravelling The Role of DRP1," which involved extensive work with various drugs and cell lines, as well as developing skills in cell culture, flow cytometry, and western blot techniques. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Molecular Biosciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a Master's Degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, and a Licentiate Degree in Biologia Humana from the University of Évora.
