Miriam Schaffer has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of college admissions counseling, web marketing, and television production. In 2019, they began their current role as Director of Enrollment/College Admissions Consultant at SpanOne College Counseling, providing families of college applicants with comprehensive college counseling services. From 2007 to 2019, they worked as a College Admissions Consultant at Colleges For You, helping high school and community college students and their families navigate the college admissions process. From 2003 to 2007, Miriam was an Account Manager at Wipfli Web Marketing, creating websites for effective customer engagement and lead generation. From 2000 to 2003, they were an Account Supervisor at DuDell & Associates, managing accounts for San Francisco International Airport and Washington Hospital. In 1981, they began their career at KRON-TV as a Producer.

Miriam Schaffer graduated from Classical High School and then went on to earn a B.A. in English from Skidmore College.
