Ajay Talwar has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on buying and merchandising. Ajay started their career at The Home Store in 1996, where they worked in organization. Ajay then moved on to Dubai (Home Centre) in 1998, where they served as an Assistant Buyer. In 2000, Ajay joined Life Style International, Landmark Group as a Buyer for Home Centre. Ajay then joined Metro Cash & Carry India Pvt. Ltd in 2002, starting as a Manager and eventually becoming the Head of Buying & Merchandising Non Food. In 2010, they joined RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group as a General Manager. Ajay then joined Max Hypermarket India Private Limited in 2015 as AVP of Buying & Merchandising (Non Food) and later became Vice President of Buying and Merchandising at SPAR India (Max Hypermarket India Pvt Limited) in 2018.
Ajay Talwar completed their 12th grade education in Commerce at New Era Public School, Mayapuri from 1990 to 1992. Ajay then pursued Bachelor and Diploma degrees in Commerce and Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition at IHM, Pusa, Bhopal.
