Monika Teran

Monika Teran has extensive work experience in human resources. Monika currently serves as the Head Of Human Resources at SPAR Slovenija d.o.o., a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Danfoss as the HR Manager for Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Romania from September 2021 to May 2022. Monika also worked at Imperial Tobacco Tobacna Ljubljana, where they served as the Cluster HR Manager for the Adriatic region from October 2014 to October 2021, and as an HR Manager from July 2008 to October 2021. Monika started their career at Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires, where they worked as an HR Manager from 1996 to 2008.

Monika Teran received their education from the University of Ljubljana. Monika obtained a Social Worker degree from 1993 to 1996 and also completed a University degree in Economics from 1991 to 1996. Prior to their time at the University of Ljubljana, they attended Gimnazija Kranj, a secondary school specializing in Natural Sciences & Mathematics from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Monika Teran holds several certifications including a Work & Life Balance Director certification from EVRA Agencija obtained in May 2019, a Top employer Slovenia certification from the Top Employers Institute obtained in February 2019, and an HR&M project - finalist certification from PLANET GV d.o.o. obtained in November 2018. Monika also obtained a TA 101 certification from the ITAA- International Transactional Analysis Association in September 2018, a Top 10 Educational Management certification from PLANET GV d.o.o. in October 2017, and an ICF Coach certification from ACTP - International Coach Federation in June 2017.
