Uroš Lozej

Uro L. is an experienced research data engineer at Citadel Securities, specializing in alternative data with a tenure starting in July 2022. Previously, Uro served as an undergraduate student researcher at the University of Maryland, contributing to a project on revenue-maximizing auctions that was accepted for presentation at AISTATS 2022. Uro also held leadership as co-president of the Smith Investment Fund, focusing on systematic strategy research. Internship experiences include software engineering positions at Facebook, where Uro worked on assistant question answering and civic integrity projects, and a quantitative research internship at Millenium Management LLC, concentrating on systematic VIX and options strategies. Uro L. holds a degree from the University of Maryland, complemented by a specialized education in the Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program at Montgomery Blair High School.
