Helio Costa

Helio Costa has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Helio has served as the Head of Product Design at SPARCK, providing consultancy services to various companies and designing products and services for Amnesty International. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at Travelport Digital, where they led workshops, conducted research, and created prototypes for travel companies. Helio also has experience as a Senior UX Interaction Designer at Intel Corporation, where they idealized and specified user experiences for different products. Additionally, they have worked as a User Experience Designer at SCABU, applying UX design to their marketplace platform, and as a Designer at Dígitro Tecnologia, focusing on user experience and information architecture for new products. Apart from their design roles, Helio has also worked as a Professor of Design at Faculdade Barddal, Clear Educação e Inovação, and UNIP, and as an Information Architect at Tribo Interactive. Helio started their career as an Interface Designer at Tecnologia Bancária S.A., where they implemented UX methods and standards for various clients.

Helio Costa has an extensive education history. Helio obtained an MBA in Digital Marketing from FECAP in 2006-2007. Prior to that, they graduated from Faculdade Associadas de São Paulo in Web Design, between 2002 and 2004. Helio completed high school at Colégio Eniac from 1999 to 2001, where they specialized in IT Technician. In addition to their formal education, Helio also pursued various certifications. In 2016, they acquired a Design Leadership certification from Cooper in New York, as well as a Design Thinking certification from Lynda.com + Frog Design. Helio also obtained a Service Design Fundamentals certification from Udemy in 2016. Earlier, in 2015, they earned two certifications: one in Design Kit: Prototyping from IDEO.org and another in Design Kit. Helio's commitment to continuous learning is evident from their additional certifications.
