John Cowen

John Cowen is an experienced Senior Product Designer currently working at SPARCK since October 2023. Previously, John held roles at HoxtonAi from June 2021 to October 2023, where responsibilities included leading design for a computer vision system focused on people counting solutions. As the first designer at HoxtonAi, John significantly impacted the product's development. John's extensive experience also includes leadership roles at Funeral Guide and Funeral Zone, managing design across multiple products within the funeral industry, and a background in user experience design and web development from founding Mekonta and working at Stovax Group and CalendarClub.co.uk. John Cowen earned a BA Hons in Fine Art from UCE between 1997 and 2000.
