Yasha Podeswa

Yasha Podeswa has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Starting in 2007, Yasha worked as a Research Assistant and Field and Laboratory Assistant at The University of British Columbia. In 2010, Yasha took on additional roles at The University of British Columbia, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. In 2012, Yasha began working as a Freelance Web Developer. In 2013, Yasha joined Hootsuite as a Staff Software Developer, later advancing to Senior Software Developer and Senior Data Analyst. In 2021, Yasha began working as a Principal Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at Spare.

Yasha Podeswa attended The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Science. They then returned to The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2012, graduating with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biological Oceanography. From 2012 to 2015, Yasha Podeswa completed online courseware.
