Ian Smith

Ian Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and education. Ian began their career as a Senior Developer at Spark Software, where they worked on product development using Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and Postgres. In 2015, Ian became self-employed, teaching and tutoring students in HTML, CSS, Ruby, and Javascript. This included working with university students and volunteering at coding events. Additionally, Ian served as a Teaching Assistant at Lighthouse Labs, a developer bootcamp, where they assisted students with their coursework, focusing on Ruby on Rails and Javascript.

Ian Smith's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled at the University of Victoria to study Engineering. Ian completed their studies there in 2013. In 2013, Ian attended Lighthouse Labs for a Web Development program, which they completed in 2014. In 2018, Ian returned to Lighthouse Labs to specialize in Blockchain for Developers.
