Previously, significant roles included Business Development Executive at Blue Light Card from December 2021 to February 2025, alongside various positions in research and insights. A tenure at Sainsbury's encompassed responsibilities as an Assistant Buyer for household electricals and diverse buyers assistant roles. Early career experiences involved positions such as Junior Jewellery Designer at Lola Rose and Trainee Buyer for Jewellery and Watches at Avon. Ayla Ali's academic background features an MBA and a Master’s in Strategic Management and Leadership from the University of Northampton and the Chartered Management Institute, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design from Leeds Arts University.
