Anh Nguyen

Anh Nguyen, CMP, is a seasoned event management professional with extensive experience in leading and innovating within the industry. As the Principal and Co-Founder of Spark Event Collective since January 2021, Anh collaborates with independent event professionals to offer comprehensive management services for live, virtual, and hybrid events. Previously, as Principal of Spark Event Management, Anh championed a unique approach to event management in Calgary, Alberta. Additionally, Anh was instrumental in the growth of twine as Head of Event Marketing & Community from March 2021 to March 2023. Anh held leadership positions within the MPI Greater Calgary Chapter, serving as President and President Elect, while also gaining valuable experience in prior roles with ConventionALL Management Inc., McCarthy Tetrault, and OOMPH! Events Inc. Anh holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Decision Information Systems from the University of Alberta and has continued to contribute to the advancement of the event industry through various initiatives.
