Raquell Fernando

Raquell Fernando possesses a diverse background in caregiving, education, and volunteer work. Currently serving as a caregiver at Spark Lifecare since November 2022, Raquell is also an active member of the Ubuntu DEI Council, focusing on promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the workplace. Raquell contributes as a volunteer literacy tutor with the Learning Disabilities Association of Niagara Region, teaching children literacy skills. Previous experience includes a role as a program assistant at ABA Connections Inc., where valuable insights into ABA therapy were gained, and fundraising activities with Advanced Wellness Centre. Raquell also has customer service experience from Bulk Barn Foods Limited. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Carleton University and a Registered Behavioural Analysis certification from St. Lawrence College.
