Gayan Ranasinghe

Gayan Ranasinghe is a seasoned security engineer with extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving at Spark New Zealand since June 2021. Previous roles include positions at NTT Ltd. and ASB Bank, where Gayan worked as a security engineer and cyber security specialist, respectively. Notably, Gayan contributed to implementing advanced SIEM architecture while at Vodafone New Zealand as a security consultant. Further experience encompasses deputy manager at Ingram Micro, providing technical enablement and customer support, system engineer at KBSL Information Technologies focusing on networking and security, and an internship as a network engineer at Millennium Information Technologies. Gayan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa.
