Emma Garrod

Emma Garrod serves as the Talent Development Manager at Spark Power, overseeing the company-wide Talent Development function and fostering career growth across various technical roles. Garrod also contributes as a Board Member and Chair of the Recruitment Committee for Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton. As Co-Owner and Lead Instructor at FDS Training, Garrod utilizes a unique background in hockey to enhance the coaching experience. Previous experience includes roles as a Talent Management Consultant at Hydro One, Senior Specialist in Talent Development at Cancer Care Ontario, and various positions in HR at University Health Network, VitalAire Canada Inc., and the University of Windsor. Garrod holds an Adult Learning and Development Certificate from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, a Post-Graduate Human Resources Management degree from Sheridan College, and a BA(H) in Sociology from the University of Windsor.
