Network Operations Lead at Spark Schools

Amy Mataboge has a strong background in school operations and program development. Amy began their career at LifeCo UnLtd SA Group in 2013, where they held various roles including Opportunity Development Coordinator and Talent Academy and Development Coordinator. In these positions, they managed program implementation, teacher training, and business strategy, as well as coordinated events and fundraising efforts. Amy joined SPARK Schools in 2016 as a School Operations Manager, where they oversaw all aspects of a primary school's operations, including procurement, IT infrastructure, and parent and supplier liaison. Amy later transitioned to the role of Network Operations Lead, where they managed a network of 12 schools, developed policies and procedures, and led operational projects to improve efficiency.

Amy Mataboge holds a Master's degree in Business Psychology, which they obtained from London Metropolitan University in the year 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Sociology, English Literature, and Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2006 to 2009. Amy 'searlier education includes obtaining a National Senior Certificate (Matric) from St. Catherine's Convent from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Amy has also obtained various certifications such as Basic Fire Fighting and First Aid from Turtle Life Support in 2021, SHE Representative Training from Training Force (Pty) Ltd in 2019, and a Care Certificate from Acqua Doria in 2011.
