Ginny Fang

Ginny Fang has a diverse work experience ranging from roles in the education sector to founding and leading their own companies. Ginny is currently the President of SPARK SF PUBLIC SCHOOLS and previously served as the Head of Strategy and Philanthropy at the San Francisco Education Fund. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of G Street Ventures, a boutique investment firm. Ginny also founded ChinaSF, a public-private partnership focused on attracting Chinese investment and business expansion in San Francisco. Ginny has also worked as a Policy Consultant in the Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce Development and as a Senior Program Associate at Community Focus. Their early career includes serving as the Program Director at the OMI/Excelsior Beacon Center/Urban Services YMCA. Throughout their career, Ginny has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, community development, and attracting investment to San Francisco.

Ginny Fang has a B.A. from Dartmouth College, with fields of study in Women's Studies, Pre-Med, and Music. Ginny also earned a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University. Additionally, Ginny has a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Public Policy - Economic Development and Public Finance.
