Scott McGerty

Scott McGerty has extensive experience in radio and media, currently serving as the Director at Dance Revolution since April 2021, overseeing the evolution of the station from a weekly radio show to a full-time dance music platform. In addition, Scott has been a presenter for Amazing Radio since November 2012, hosting both The Amazing Chart and a mid-morning show, where engaging interviews and music features are central to the role. Since February 2020, Scott co-hosts The Naughtiest Noughty Podcast, alongside Liam Milburn. In academia, Scott holds the position of MediaHub Compliance Manager at the University of Sunderland and has been involved with Spark Sunderland in various roles since 2009. Previous experience includes an assistant producer role at Bauer Media's Metro Radio and customer service training at Sage Software. Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ulster University and A Levels from Limavady Grammar School.
