Gavin Callard is a Network Operations Engineer at WiFi SPARK since September 2016. Prior to this, Gavin worked as a Self Employed IT Professional at Callard Computing Services from January 2011 to October 2016. Before that, Gavin was an IT Professional at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company from September 1998 to January 2011. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours degree in Computing from the University of Glamorgan, as well as A Levels in Physics, Pure and Applied Maths, Computer Studies, and Science and Technology in Society from Exeter College. Gavin also obtained 10 GCSEs and 1 City and Guilds Qualification from South Dartmoor Community College.

These apps are available via a number of devices, including patients own devices (BYOD - Bring your own device), Trust-owned devices like tablets, bedside units and other mounted screens. These apps drive staff efficiencies, inform patients about their healthcare, save Trusts time and money as well as entertain and engage with patients and visitors. These applications ultimately lead to greater overall results such as reducing bed blocking.
