William McNeill

William McNeill is a Senior Data Scientist at SparkCognition Government Systems since August 2022, previously serving in the same role at SparkCognition from October 2017 to August 2022, where research and architecture for a DeepNLP product were conducted. Prior experience includes a position as a Watson NLP Software Developer at IBM from October 2013 to October 2017, where contributions were made to the Watson question answering system, including collaboration with the original Watson Jeopardy! team. Early career roles involved consulting at People Pattern, leading a team at Intelius to enhance information extraction processes, and research at the University of Washington in both Linguistics and speech recognition, alongside engineering work at Microsoft developing core components for Windows 98. William McNeill holds an MA in Linguistics from the University of Washington and a BS in Physics from Cornell University.
