Rohit Kumar

Rohit Kumar started their work experience as an I.T Project Manager at American Express in 2003. Rohit led projects focusing on delivering key business-driven IT projects and provided recommendations for improving the international database infrastructure. In 2004, they joined Prudential as a Business Change Manager. From 2006 to 2011, Rohit worked at AXA Investment Managers as the Head of UK Product Engineering, where they led the UK Product Development team and managed both existing and new product ranges. Rohit then joined UBS in 2011 as the Director of Product Development, where they played a key role in growing Irish money market funds from $400M to over $5B within 2 years. Currently, Rohit is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Sparkinity, a wholesale marketplace for original merchandise. Since its launch in 2019, Sparkinity has grown to include 2000 brands and hundreds of retailers.

Rohit Kumar obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in MSc Computation from The University of Manchester from 2001 to 2002. In addition to their degree, they also obtained two additional certifications. In 1999, they received a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Later, in July 2011, they obtained an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Institute.
