Miriam Waalewijn

Miriam Waalewijn is a product owner at Sparkles since February 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in operational management from ProRail where Miriam served as Operationeel Manager Verkeersleiding from November 2021 to January 2023, overseeing train service coordinators to ensure safe rail operation. Prior to that, Miriam was a team manager at GVB from December 2014 to October 2021, focusing on the flexible workforce and training of conductors and tram drivers, as well as serving as an HRD advisor. Additional experience includes roles at Parana as treasurer, at Hiemstra & De Vries contributing to youth care decentralization, and an internship at De Baak centered on sustainable employability. Miriam holds a Master's degree in Organization, Change & Management from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration & Organization Science, coupled with participation in leadership programs and initiatives.
