Deepak Parasam

Deepak Parasam is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at SparkPost since February 2015, Deepak has led the design and development of new features for the PowerMTA product and modernized its web user interface using React/NodeJS and REST APIs. Previously, Deepak held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Port25 Solutions Inc., where contributions included building a distributed web application for monitoring and analytics. Deepak's career began with roles at Amazon.com and IBM, focusing on developing robust software solutions, complemented by a research role at Cornell University that resulted in published papers on gossip protocols. Deepak holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science from RV College of Engineering.
