Kelly Shores

Kelly Shores has had a long and varied career in the media industry. Kelly began their career as an Event Producer at Media Event Concepts in 1991. In 2000, they took a role as Strategic Marketing and Webteam at Vignette. In 2004, they became General Manager at NION Interactive Solutions, where they were responsible for sales, operations, and project management of interactive marketing projects. In 2005, they moved to The Summit Group, where they worked with some of the world's most innovative technology companies. In 2006, they became Creative Director at Big Dog Productions, where they created themes, branding, visual identity and experiences at large customer conferences. In 2011, they and their wife co-chaired Science Night at Kathy Caraway Elementary as volunteers. In 2007, they co-founded and became CEO of Sparksight, a company that provides turnkey event management and video production for clients in a wide variety of industries. Finally, in 2022 they co-founded and co-hosts the podcast Dirt Nap City.

Kelly Shores attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications. Kelly also attended University of Southern California in 1990 for a Summer Film Boot Camp in Film and Production.
