Ari Bader-Natal

Co-Founder & CTO at Sparkwise

Ari Bader-Natal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the education technology industry. Ari is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of Sparkwise, where they aim to make the best learning accessible to professionals and organizations through multiplayer training. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Calbright College from February 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Calbright College, Ari worked at Minerva Project for several years. Ari held the position of Chief Learning Scientist, leading the development of innovative technologies supporting learning and teaching. This included the creation of Minerva's live video-based classroom, curriculum authoring and management platform, and degree planning and auditing tools. Additionally, they served as the Principal Learning Architect, collaborating with the academic team to design immersive learning venues.

Ari's earlier work included being the Chief Learning Architect at Grockit, where they spearheaded the company's R&D efforts for building a web platform for collaborative learning. Ari focused on adaptive assessment and instruction algorithms, conducting efficacy studies and publishing research papers on the company's advancements.

Ari began their career as a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant at Brandeis University from 2002 to 2008.

Ari Bader-Natal obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University in 2001. In 2000, Ari also spent some time as a visiting student at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, studying Computer Science. Following this, Ari pursued higher education and completed a PhD in Computer Science at Brandeis University from 2002 to 2008.
