Maxime Bergamin is a Quantum Photonics Engineer at Sparrow Quantum Aps since August 2022. Previously, Maxime was a PhD candidate at DTU Physics from November 2018 to April 2022, focusing on Quantum communications and the study of a single photon source utilizing Germanium-vacancy centers in diamond within a Fabry-Pérot microcavity. From October 2014 to October 2021, Maxime served as an Airman - Helicopter loadmaster in the Swiss Armed Forces, ensuring cabin safety and assisting in troop and cargo transport. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at HE-ARC from April 2015 to August 2016, contributing to projects involving Diffraction Optical Elements and ethanol concentration spectrometry. Maxime holds multiple MSc degrees in Nanoscale engineering from Centrale Lyon, INSA Lyon, and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nano-Microtechnology & Electronics from Haute Ecole Arc and RWTH Aachen University.
