Bastian Scharpen

Bastian Scharpen is an experienced professional in solutions engineering and sales operations, currently serving as Director of Solutions Engineering EMEA at Honeywell Life Sciences since July 2011, where Bastian has focused on driving the company’s strategy for life sciences applications. Prior to this role, Bastian held the position of Director of Sales Operations EMEA at Honeywell, leading a team that transformed the organization to a SaaS-based selling model, resulting in five years of record growth. Bastian's career began at Sparta Systems as a Solutions Consultant, where technical support for software sales was provided. Before joining Honeywell, Bastian spent over a decade at Die Grünenthal Gruppe, progressing from Head of IT Quality Management to Head of Quality Assurance R&D Computer Systems, executing global audits and managing IT qualification and validation activities. Bastian continues to expand expertise through the Great Demo! program since July 2011.
