Kumaran Padayachee

Kumaran Padayachee has a wealth of experience in the finance industry. Kumaran began their career as a Financial Advisor at Norwich Union in 1993. Kumaran then moved on to become the Managing Director (MD) of KPA Financial & Business Consultants, where they provided consulting, strategy and financing for SMEs. In 1999, they created KPA Asset Based Finance, providing asset based financing for SMEs. In 2003, they became the CEO of Spartan SME Finance, which provides structured financing. In 2007, they became a Non-Executive Director at National Business Initiative.

Kumaran Padayachee has a long and varied education history. Kumaran obtained a Matric from P.R Pather Secondary in 1989, a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1993, a B.Comm in Accounting & Commercial Law from Rhodes University in 1992, an MBA from the University of Wales in 1999, an Entrepreneurial Masters Program from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2008, and a Certified Expert in SME Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2016. Kumaran also attended the Aspen Institute from 2010 to 2012 for a Leadership program. Prior to that, they attended Nardini Convent from 1980 to 1984.
