Phillip Moore

Phillip Moore is an experienced professional in the field of animal services and public safety, currently serving as the Animal Services Supervisor for the City of Spartanburg since April 2022. Prior to this role, Phillip held positions such as Claims Generalist Trainee at Progressive Insurance and Shop Foreman at Seedslingers. Phillip’s background includes extensive law enforcement experience, having worked as a Patrol Sergeant at Spartanburg Public Safety Center and in various security roles, including as a security officer and courtroom security for Richland County. Phillip retired from the Major of Operations position at Coastal Carolina University, contributing to operational management for over a decade. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate and previous studies at Spartanburg Methodist College.
