VP, Manufacturing Operations at Sparton

Mr. Anderson has served as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Sparton Corporation since August 2019. In this position, he is responsible for providing strategic alignment and tactical direction for the company’s operation’s department, which included sonobuoy production, equipment maintenance, manufacturing support engineering and Continuous Improvement. He has extended experience in quality and operations management while also serving in technical roles since joining the company in May 2016.

Prior to that, Mr. Anderson served as Lean Deployment Manager at SunEdison, a solar equipment manufacturer for over five years. Previously, he was a Six Sigma Black Belt for Caterpillar and a Project Manager for US Bio Energy, a renewables company. He began his career at Bobcat Company, then a subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand, where he held various engineering positions.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Minnesota State University – Moorhead and an Associate of Science degree in Electronic Technology from North Dakota State College of Science. He is also certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Sensei and holds a seat on the Volusia Manufacturers Association (VMA) Board of Directors.
