Richard Boyd

Richard Boyd has worked in the field of web development since 2005. Richard began their career as a Web Support Officer for Devon County Council in 2005. Richard then moved to South West Grid for Learning in 2006, where they held the role of Lead Web Developer and Web Developer. In 2007, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer for little white cloud. In 2011, they became the UK Development Manager for InfoMentor. Since 2017, they have been working as a Senior Product Owner (Classroom) for Sparx.

Richard Boyd attended Wilnecote High School from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained 11 GCSEs. Richard then attended Wilnecote High School from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained A2 ICT (A), A2 German (B), A2 Theatre Studies (A). After that, they attended the University of Plymouth from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) Digital Art & Technology in Digital Arts. In addition, Richard Boyd has also obtained certifications from Udemy and The Knowledge Academy, including Apple TV App Development for tvOS, Scrum Certified Product Owner, The Complete iOS8 and Swift Course, and Dinghy Sailing Level 2 from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).
