Sophie Gould

Sophie Gould has worked in the field of content design and editing for 8 years. In 2017, they joined Sparx as a Content Designer in the Content team, where they managed the design, production, peer review and quality assurance of high-performing content. Sophie was later promoted to Principal Content Scientist and Team Lead, where they shaped and created an extensive content bank across secondary maths. Sophie also managed a substantial team, leading with onboarding, personal development and appraisals, alongside providing pastoral support. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Senior Editor at CGP Books from 2013-2017, where they created and edited copy, designed accompanying graphics, designed the structure of books, and reviewed and proofread the work of peers or external contributors.

Sophie Gould attended Maynard School, Exeter from 2008 to 2010, where they completed their A-Levels in Chemistry, English Literature, French (to AS), and Mathematics. Sophie then attended Durham University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
