Kelly Salvo

Kelly Salvo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In their most recent role at Spathe Systems, they served as a Project Manager, Business Process Analyst, and Secondary Site Lead for the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Naval Special Warfare (NSW). Kelly managed client requirements and projects for a team of 40 staff and led a team of experts in data engineering, business intelligence, and workflow development. Kelly also played a key role in promoting Agile adoption within the organization. Prior to this, Kelly worked as a Special Projects Lead at We Defy Foundation and as a Business Process Analyst/Site Lead at ISPA Technology, where they directed cross-functional Lean Six Sigma teams and implemented standardized processes within Special Operations Force activities. Kelly also worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Gov Solutions Group and held roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Council for Logistics Research, The State Theatre, United States Air Force, and United States Central Command. Throughout their career, Kelly has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and process improvement skills.

Kelly Salvo has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Acquisition and Contract Management from Strayer University, which was completed in 2013. Kelly also obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration in Acquisition and Contract Management from Strayer University-Maryland, from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they completed a program in Program Management with a focus on Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management at Defense Acquisition University. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Arts degree in Information Technology from Community College of the Air Force, which was obtained from 2000 to 2014. Kelly has also obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Simplilearn and United States Naval Special Warfare Command in 2019, SHRM - Veterans at Work Certificate Program from SHRM Foundation in 2019, OSHA 10-Hour for General Industry from Occupational Safety and Health Administration in 2018, and Continuous Process Improvement - Green Belt (Lean Six Sigma) from Air Force Acquisition in 2011.
