Spaulding for Children
Stacey Oakes is an experienced professional in child and family services with over 20 years of service at Spaulding for Children, where roles have included Program Manager, Individual Permanency Planning Supervisor, Resource Family Development Supervisor, and Placement Resource Coordinator. In these positions, Stacey has provided technical assistance, performed data entry, overseen file organization, and coordinated resource family training and recruitment. Stacey also supervises agency staff and volunteers, assists resource families with medical service coordination, and manages Parent Empowerment group meetings. In addition to current endeavors at AdoptUSKids as an MPLD Graduate, Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology from Western Michigan University, earned in 1995.

Spaulding for Children is a multi-faceted child welfare organization that provides prevention and permanency services. With a goal of ensuring every child that needs one has a permanent family, the Agency services children, families, and professionals through its Academy for Family Support and Preservation, the Institute for Family and Community Development, and Child and Family Services that has prevention, foster care and adoption programs.
