Abigail Dominguez has been serving as the Foster Coordinator and Animal Care Technician II at The SPCA for Monterey County since November 2016. Previously, Abigail worked as a Shift Lead at Dawg Gone It from 2015 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing kennel/boarding operations and providing customer service. Abigail started professional experience at California State University, Monterey Bay as a Chemistry Grader and Student Assistant from 2013 to 2014, focusing on grading lower division chemistry labs and exams. Abigail holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology from CSU Monterey Bay, earned in 2015.

The SPCA is not a chapter of any other agency and does not have a parent organization. They shelter homeless, neglected and abused pets and livestock, and provide humane education and countless other services to the community. They are the local agency you call to investigate animal cruelty, rescue and rehabilitate injured wildlife, and aid domestic animals in distress.
