Fernando Tavares

Fernando Tavares has over 18 years of experience in the design industry. Fernando began their career in 2001 as an Art Director at Grey Group. In 2004, they moved to BLUG GROUP as a Graphic Designer. In 2008, they joined Firedog Creative as a Senior Brand Designer. Fernando then moved to FITCH in 2009, where they held the same role for two years. In 2010, they moved to FITCH in Doha, Qatar, where they worked as a Senior Brand Designer for the Middle East market. Fernando then moved to Brandia Central in 2013, where they worked as a Senior Brand Designer on a wide range of high-end brand projects. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Brand Designer at Unlock®. Fernando then moved to Laureate International Universities in 2017, where they worked as a Lead Brand Designer in the marketing department, managing the correct application of the brand assets. Fernando is currently working as a Lead Brand Designer at Speakap | Engage smarter since 2019.

Fernando Tavares obtained a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications from IADE between 1997 and 2001. In 2010, they completed a Maxon Cinema 4D Course at FrenetikPolis. In 2017, they completed a User Experience Circuit at General Assembly, obtaining a certification in November of that year. In 2018, they completed a UI Design Course at Learn UI Design and an Animation Bootcamp at School of Motion, obtaining a certification in January 2019.
