Scott Nelson

Scott Nelson is a highly experienced technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and management. Currently, Scott serves as a Co-Founder at Speakeasy since March 2023. Prior to this role, Scott was the Founder of a Stealth Startup from October 2022 to June 2023. Scott's extensive experience at Peloton Interactive included positions as Engineering Manager, Engineering Team Lead, and Software Engineer from March 2018 to February 2022, where key contributions involved enhancing backend API architecture and upgrading Rails frameworks. Earlier roles at Uversity, Inc. included Technical Lead and Software Engineer, focusing on backend APIs that supported numerous client platforms, with the company being acquired by TargetX in July 2015. Additional experience includes working as a Mobile App Developer at uVu Technologies, creating motion-controlled gaming applications for iOS and Android. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, along with education from App Academy and University School of Nova, where a High School Diploma was earned.
