James Cooper is an experienced educator and coach with a focus on commerce, business studies, debating, and public speaking. Since March 2021, James has been teaching at The Scots College while also serving as the Master In Charge of Debating. James has been a Debating and Public Speaking Coach at Speaking Schools Australasia since September 2018, facilitating classes for youth aged 6-15. Previously, James was a Debating Coach at Meriden School, guiding the Year 11 Debating team in the Archdale competition. James’s entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of Video Transfers Wollongong and LAW Records, both of which operated until 2020 and 2018 respectively. James has also worked as a Marketing Consultant at Digital Business Hub, focusing on online marketing strategies. Academically, James holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from The University of Sydney and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Technology Sydney. Additional qualifications include a General Construction Induction from NIDA and a Certificate III in Live Production and Services from AIS.
